Melody & Nick are the first couple of my 2017 wedding season, and I couldn’t have been any luckier than to have them! They were absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. We had a gorgeous venue with beautiful scenery to work with, and while we had to move inside for the ceremony due to rain, we were able to get outside for some fun bridal party portraits and portraits of the bride and groom. We had the company of 11 deer during Melody & Nick’s portraits! They were so close and just watched as we all walked by.
There are a couple of things that make this day so amazing. First of all…Look at these images of the flowers. The bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and ceremony embellishments are GORGEOUS! and guess who their florist was? Nick! That’s right, the groom did all the flowers and he is NOT a florist. Melody & Nick could not find a florist that could (or would) do what they wanted, so Nick took to YouTube and did them all himself. The other thing that makes this wedding so special is that Melody & Nick have been together for 9 years. They are business owners together and clearly know how to be a couple. The love between them was apparent and so refreshing. Melody & Nick had their closest friends with them to celebrate and they truly do have a close group of friends. Their bridal party were all very close with each other and were equally as great to work with.
Melody is so soft spoken and sweet, and Nick has a wonderful, easy-going personality, so it was truly a joy to be around this couple. I wish them nothing but the best and, Melody & Nick, you can be certain that I will be stopping in for some garlic knots 😉
